Verruca Treatment
Norwood House Podiatry
Warts and verrucas are caused by a virus. They can spread via contaminated surfaces or through close skin contact. You’re more likely to spread a wart or verruca if your skin is wet or damaged.
Verrucas can be painful, usually those on a bony area of the foot.
There is always potential for the verruca to spread, so early treatment is worthwhile. Whilst any treatment is aimed at eradicating the verruca, treatment for verrucas are not always completely effective, and they sometimes return following treatment, however we do endeavour to avoid this.
Verruca Removals
Verrucas can be single or develop as a cluster. The earlier they are treated improves the chance of a quick resolution and less potential to spread .
Our treatments use the most modern methods and are customised depending on the size and condition of each verruca.
